The World of Silly Valley

Ghost Story is set in a world called the Silly Valley. Here are a few of the places in the Silly Valley that you may spend time in or even live in one day:

The Docks

Untitled

The docks of Silly Valley are an old industrial area that has been taken over by hipsters and artists. There are old warehouses that have been converted into loft apartments and plant stores. The old factory has been turned into a venue for raves.

The atmosphere is one of rebellion against the cold, corporate vibes of the rest of Silly Valley. The area is gentrifying as corporates who think they are cool move into it, but the residents still hold tight to the grungy, DIY vibe.

Places: Groovy Ghost Warehouse, The Lofts, The Haunted House

Bugman Corner

Bugman Corner was once an industrial wasteland on the outskirts of downtown. But in recent years, it has been taken over by young professionals who have gentrified the area. The area is now home to luxury apartments and condos, as well as trendy restaurants and shops.

The residents of Bugman Corner are often derided as soulless yuppies who work for the Big Five megacorps. But they seem to be happy with their lives, sipping boba tea and eating sushi in their free time.

Downtown

Downtown is the beating heart of Silly Valley. It's a bustling metropolis filled with high-rise buildings and a never-ending sea of people. The air is thick with smog and the sidewalks are covered in trash. The streets are always busy with cars, buses, and bikes.

Downtown is where all the major Big Five corporations have their headquarters. It's also home to City Hall.

Old Town

Old Town is the historic district of Silly Valley. It is made up of brownstones and old buildings. The residents are upper middle class and are often former hippies or professors. They are educated and liberal, but they are out of touch with the rest of Silly Valley.

The area is full of trees and parks, and it is a refuge from the rest of the Silly Valley. However, it is becoming increasingly gentrified as corporate execs move in to escape the grind of the city.
